Elliot Hughes is on Trial Call at 9 AM on January 11th, 2010 (CANCELLED: Rescheduled or March 8th at 9 AM) at the Ramsey County Courthouse, 15 W. Kellogg Boulevard in St. Paul. We won't know when he will go to trial until the end of that day. (My opinion is probably not that week, but possibly some time this month.)
There will be a huge hearing for the RNC8 starting at 9 AM on February 2nd, 2010. It will be held in Courtroom 131B, a large courtroom with an entrance in Room 130, the Room of the Blue Video Monitors on the ground floor of the Ramsey County Courthouse. All eight defendants and their lawyers are required to show up. Plus the Prosecutors, of course.
The hearing may last all day, but it is one day only. All the pre-trial motions that both sides want to present will be heard. Scheduling issues will be worked out and a trial date will be set.
This is not expected to be a particularly interesting session, but it is a large courtroom and anyone who wants to attend is welcome.
